EPEL received a $50,000 grant from the Seigle Foundation to support the early childhood system. This generous funding will enable EPEL to continue learning from parents about their needs and desires, meet families where they are to raise awareness of the importance of early learning, expand access to early childhood opportunities, and plan and launch a new community initiative that will help parents, caregivers, and practitioners engage more effectively with children.
Amber Peters, Executive Director, stated, “The Seigle Foundation understands that meaningful community change starts with our youngest children and their families. They don’t just talk the talk but rather walk the walk alongside their grantees. This is a crucial step in supporting organizations and the community.”
